Three new board members for Board Voice

A big Board Voice welcome to our newest board members, elected to the Board Voice board at our annual general meeting on Nov. 2.

We are pleased to welcome Sandra Micheals, whose home board is the Greater Vancouver Community Services Society. She is replacing outgoing board member Susan Witter as a rep of GVCSS on our board. And welcome to Barbara M Brown, not only new to our board but to Board Voice. Barbara is board president of Wavefront Centre for Communication Accessibility, which has just come on as a member.

Our third new director is Eleanor Calder, who sits on the Esquimalt Neighbourhood House Society board and has been a regular at our annual conferences for the last four years. Delighted to get to know you in a more official capacity, Eleanor!

Each director on the Board Voice board is elected to a three-year term. You can find all of our current directors and their bios here. We said goodbye this year to Susan Witter and Meghan Currie, both of whom stepped off the board at our AGM.
