A recent report developed in the Cowichan Valley found that the economic impact of charitable organizations in the Cowichan Region is significant. Collectively, these organizations accounted for over $119 million in annual revenue and employed nearly 1800 individuals in 2013. Most of this revenue is expended locally and is an important feature of the local economy.
