56 BC societies–including Board Voice–have signed and submitted a letter opposing proposed changes to the BC Societies Act that would allow any “interested party” to apply to the courts to have the actions of the society ruled “not in the public interest.”
The letter was drafted by the West Coast Environmental Law Society and submitted to the Financial and Corporate Sector Policy Branch of the Ministry of Finance today–the deadline for public submissions.
