In response to the province’s Fair Wage Commission, Board Voice’s new Co-Chair’s, Leslie Welin and Terry Anne Boyles have developed a submission: Board Voice Fair Wages Commission Submission.
We would like to encourage you to submit your strategic advice to the Fair Wages Commission based on the issues and needs of your individual agencies.
The Fair Wages Commission is charged with charting a course to a $15 minimum wage, along with predictable increases. In addition, the Commission will also make specific wage recommendations in certain sectors. They will also advise government on the discrepancy between the minimum wage and a livable wage in BC.
Feedback must be submitted by December 7, 2017. You can find all the information on their website. Please let me know if you have any questions.
